  • I’m a retired Art teacher, and I like doing all sorts of techniques. This particular artwork started out as a piece of fabric that I Eco Dyed. The strings to tie it for processing, left marks that looked like aspen or birch trees. Then I quilted it, using acrylic inks to paint the details. Can you find the hidden items? 2 rabbits, 3 birds in trees, and 3 bird nests. My initials are on a tree, like the Basque sheepherders arborglyphs. I discovered what looked like a jumping fox, on a birch log. So that was incorporated into the frame.
