  • This work is a metaphorical representation of discrimination against women and their restraint in certain countries, particularly within the patriarchal framework of the Middle East. Following the 1979 revolution in Iran, which led to the establishment of an Islamic theocratic authoritarian government, Iranian women faced numerous restrictions in various domains, including legal, social, political, professional, and artistic realms.
