  • I have loved working with clay since I was 12 years old. It started with my Uncle Tom bringing home a bag of clay and we went to work sculpting a wise owl which has since become a stronger knowledge into the wisdom of nature. My tethers to inspiration come from being a wilderness river guide and an avid outdoorsman. I revel in the mystery and diversity of nature while stumbling around in the outdoors of Idaho. These experiences have instilled the courage to explore art with narratives in life, death, nature, and belonging. This provides a symphony of art as a reflective source of wisdom from natural rhythms. These aerial mystics captivate our attention steeped in culture and folklore. Ravens have been known to form alliances with other predators as well as man. Ravens have an advanced communication system when I watch and listen. Here, this timeless bronze “The Speaker” calls out wisdom of the ages.
