Artist Statement: I am a self-taught artist, veterinarian, mother, wife, writer, runner, and farmer. I have begun to put focus back on the artist kept inside, as life slowly passed her by. I find inspiration in the grandeur of animals of any size and the niche they occupy in our small world. I love to get lost in the little details to bring the piece to life and hope that reflects in my art and transports viewers to that moment.
